One of our many outreach programs supports mental health through paid work.  Creative art supports calmness, production of a product and a feeling of accomplishment, most people need in everyday life.
100% of these proceeds support the artist or the artist family (if the artist is incarcerated at the time of sale)
Many of those incarcerated spend their time creating beautiful pieces of art.   We turn these creations into note cards and have the proceeds of the sales sent to their families quarterly.       This way the feeling of self worth and the giving and receiving helps keep the positive link among those who are in and those who love those who are in.
Supporting our holiday cards directly supports families at this holiday to help our inmates provide as gift to their families.   Being successful in sales, the artists achieves  an increase in self esteem and is more likely to look at success in his future.
